About the position

In data architecture at PwC, you will focus on designing and implementing the structure and organisation of data assets within the organisation. Your work will involve developing data models, defining data standards, and establishing data integration frameworks. You will assist in confirming that data is stored, accessed, and utilised efficiently, enabling seamless data flow across systems and supporting effective data management practices. Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives
• Act as a strategic advisor to guide cross-functional teams in data initiatives
• Lead efforts in developing data warehousing and data lakes
• Promote leading practices in data governance and maintain regulatory compliance
• Drive scalable and sustainable data architecture solutions
• Leverage proficiency to influence and shape data management strategies
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team
• Maintain alignment with data protection regulations and policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 6 years of experience in progressive roles in data architecture, data management, or related roles

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Processing/Analytics/Science preferred
• Certification in Microsoft Purview
• Designing scalable data architecture strategies
• Leading data warehousing and data lake development
• Establishing data governance policies
• Utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI
• Managing data services on AWS and Azure
• Demonstrating proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Providing leadership and mentorship to data teams
