About the position

The Enterprise Wide Area Network (eWAN) Information System Security Officer (ISSO) position at Raytheon is a critical role within the Global Security Services Cybersecurity organization. This position focuses on ensuring the security and compliance of the eWAN, which provides centralized delivery of advanced digital technology and security services across multiple classified programs. The ISSO will work closely with a cross-functional team to execute the eWAN cybersecurity program, develop new security capabilities, and maintain compliance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute the eWAN cybersecurity program and develop new security capabilities for tenant programs.
• Monitor the cybersecurity environment and provide infrastructure support.
• Assess and implement technical security controls and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Digital Technology and Global Security Services personnel to enhance security measures.
• Maintain a strong understanding of DCSA compliance requirements and ensure adherence.

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in cyber/systems security or information technology.
• Must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with DoD 8140 IAM level II within six months of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM).
• Knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated requirements.
• Experience with cybersecurity hardening practices for major technical platforms (Windows, Linux, network hardware, hypervisors).
• Specific experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Experience with information security COTS applications such as endpoint security and vulnerability management.
