About the position

The Entry Clinical Sciences Professional (Bilingual) position at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus involves providing research assistance within the Psychiatry Research Innovations (PRI) department. The role includes navigating regulatory submissions, managing study protocols, recruiting and consenting study participants, and maintaining research databases. The candidate will work closely with faculty and staff on various research projects and is expected to be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with study protocols to ensure regulatory compliance, including writing study regulatory documents and assisting with submissions to COMIRB.
  • Participate in clinical studies process including recruiting/enrolling study participants and obtaining informed consent.
  • Create and maintain study binders, collect and manage data/study records, and reimburse participants as needed.
  • Conduct evaluations of children participating in the study.
  • Coordinate community and research partners both locally and in Latin America.
  • Create REDCap databases and perform data entries.
  • Participate in department and supervisory meetings, as well as attend PI/lab meetings for specific projects as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of research recruitment materials and advertising campaigns in English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written proficiency).
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, science, or health-related field.
  • One or more years of clinical research or related experience.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Experience working on research studies involving human participants.
  • Experience with building and maintaining REDCap databases for study data collection.
