About the position

The Entry Level Account Representative at Upstream Management Inc. is responsible for connecting customers with top-tier wireless services through effective communication and sales techniques. This role focuses on customer engagement, upselling products, and maintaining detailed sales records while contributing to the company's reputation for quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and excitement for the brand using engaging direct marketing techniques.
  • Evaluate customer needs to upsell products and wireless services to increase company profit margins.
  • Utilize persuasive sales techniques to negotiate and overturn objections.
  • Record detailed reports of all sales interactions, including accurate dispositioning of leads and tracking customer interactions.
  • Attend weekly company sales goals meetings to discuss individual and team performance, campaign goals, and quality control metrics.
  • Conduct in-person sales presentations and use active listening skills to find quality solutions for customer wireless service needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with prospective customers.
  • Familiarity with basic customer service and sales techniques.
  • Reliable daily transportation to the Columbia, MD area.
