Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Help maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports for management review.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Learn and utilize company-specific accounting software and tools effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or relevant coursework completed).
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-haves
- Internship or practical experience in an accounting or finance-related role is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) is advantageous.
