About the position

The Entry Level Acquisition Manager - LPD Class Ship Design position at Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) involves supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in managing the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) process. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with contract requirements and facilitating effective acquisition management processes. The position requires coordination with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and accurate management of all CDRLs, contributing to the overall success of the LPD Design and Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of acquisition documents, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and contract modifications.
• Track contract deliverables, funding status, and acquisition schedules to ensure timely procurement.
• Maintain acquisition records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including FAR and DFAR.
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement officers to support contract negotiations and program management tasks.
• Assist in drafting reports, presentations, and documentation for acquisition program reviews.
• Provide support for the development of acquisition strategies and cost-benefit analyses for procurement decisions.
• Communicate with vendors and stakeholders regarding contract status and any potential issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management
• DoD Security Clearance
