Full-time - Entry Level
Seattle, WA
Merchant Wholesalers, Durable Goods

About the position

At Bumgardner, we strongly believe in an open interdisciplinary work environment. Our team members' responsibilities are not necessarily defined in the terms of typical architectural job titles, and often grow and adapt to fit a project's requirements, your career goals, and to the needs of the team as a whole. We are looking for professionals who have 1-4 years of full-time employment on mixed-use housing or residential projects. We prefer education and experience that relates to the local community, environment, and market. We value a variety of work experiences, not limited to architecture or construction—if you have additional experience, please reach out to us, we are happy to see if there is a way for you to fit into our team. The role requires a strong sense of ownership of all work, contributing to office operations, including coordination with principals and architectural staff, and implementing and improving office-wide systems. Architectural role expectations are similar to those outlined by the AIA. We are looking for recent college graduates who have a desire to rapidly learn and grow professionally. Experience in industry-standard software such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Bluebeam is essential, and experience in new and emerging software is a plus. A positive attitude and the ability to flourish in a team environment are crucial for success in this role.
