About the position

Dewberry Architects, Inc. is seeking an energetic Entry Level Architectural Design Professional to join their team in either Elmhurst, IL or Peoria, IL. This role is designed for recent graduates with a Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture, who are looking to start their careers in architectural design. The position involves working on complex projects that aim to transform communities and improve quality of life, while adhering to the company's core values of honesty, passion, contribution, individualism, and perseverance.

Responsibilities

• Complete architectural design tasks under the guidance of senior architects.
• Participate in the Intern Development Program (IDP) process with the goal of licensure.
• Utilize software such as REVIT, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office for design and presentation.
• Create digital and traditional renderings and graphics as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding design concepts and project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture or Master's of Architecture from an accredited university required.
• Minimum of 1 year of internship experience with an architectural firm is required.
• Demonstrated experience with REVIT, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles is beneficial; LEED AP certification is preferable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
