About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Entry Level Assembly worker for the 2nd shift. This role involves assembling components into sub-assemblies or completed assemblies while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position offers opportunities for career progression and cross-training in different departments.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• Must not be on a written or a final written warning.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Been in current position for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, and wear proper PPE.
• Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using hand tools, air tools, and rivet guns.
• Operate the base robot and sub-assembly machines.
• Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.
• Inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations using the Kanban system.
• Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations, and clearances required.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area.
• Work with various groups of employees in a team-based environment and help train new employees.
• Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and safely team lift items exceeding that weight.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
