About the position
The Entry Level Autism Behavior Technician position at CARD involves providing home-based therapy to children with Autism in the Katy/Cypress TX area. Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with children with Autism to implement behavior treatment plans.
- Teach social, communication, and life skills to children.
- Collaborate with clinical professionals to enhance therapy effectiveness.
- Provide therapy at the center or the patient's home.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds while assisting patients.
- Negative tuberculosis test.
- English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required.
- US Work authorization.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a Nanny, Babysitter, Preschool Teacher, or related field.
- Working towards or completed a degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
- RBT or BCAT certification.
