About the position

Year Up United is an intensive job training program designed for young adults, providing them with essential skills through in-classroom training, internships, and personalized coaching. The program aims to equip participants with both technical and professional skills, facilitating their entry into the workforce or further education.

Responsibilities

• Participate in in-classroom skill development sessions.
• Engage in internships with leading organizations such as Fannie Mae, Merck, Okta, or Salesforce.
• Receive personalized coaching and mentorship throughout the program.
• Develop professional business and communication skills.
• Build resumes and enhance interviewing and networking skills.

Requirements

• Must be between 18-29 years old.
• Must be a high school graduate or GED recipient.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration.
• Must be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in technical fields such as Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Helpdesk/Desktop Support, Project Management Support, or Banking & Customer Success.
