We are seeking an Entry-Level bilingual Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our busy tax preparation and accounting firm located in Brooklyn, NY and North Bergen, NJ. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the accounting and tax field, with comprehensive training provided to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing individual and business tax returns
• Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks under the supervision of senior staff
• Assist clients with inquiries related to tax filings and financial documents
• Review and organize financial records and ensure data accuracy
• Assist with general office duties, such as answering phones and responding to emails

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Chinese, Russian, or Georgian is required
• Some accounting or tax preparation experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Basic proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
