About the position

As an Entry Level Business Analyst/Project Manager at IBM, you will join the IBM Consulting Associate Program, designed for university hires. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients globally, focusing on improving their hybrid cloud and AI journeys. You will be part of a team that emphasizes professional development, mentorship, and continuous learning, all while solving complex business problems and driving innovation in technology.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the IBM Client Innovation Center to deliver technical and industry expertise to clients.
  • Help clients solve challenging business problems and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment to meet project deliverables for client success.
  • Capture and document user requirements and prioritize them based on importance and resource constraints.
  • Understand and apply the software development life cycle.

Requirements

  • Have an Associate's Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree by date of employment.
  • Willingness to live and work in Monroe, with some anticipated travel.
  • Ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment.
  • Understanding of user requirements and experience in capturing/documenting them.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in conveying/translating user requirements to technical requirements for developers.
  • Experience with documenting current and future states of applications or systems.
  • Experience with kanban boards and user stories.
  • Experience in converting user requirements to agile user stories.
