About the position
As an Entry-Level CAD Designer/Drafter at Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES), you will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering CAD data. Your role will involve providing graphical representations of components, including notes and dimensions, and researching and validating diesel engine component structures. You will also generate high-quality technical illustrations to support engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify engineering CAD data
- Provide graphical representation of components with notes and dimensions
- Research and validate diesel engine component structures
- Generate high-quality technical illustrations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks and 2D drawing skills
- Understanding of proper drafting techniques
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials and component structuring (top level assembly, sub assembly, piece part)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read various technical documents including blueprints
- Illustration experience using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
