About the position

The Entry Level CAD Drafter position at Actalent offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the drafting and design industry. This role involves on-the-job training for the first 1-2 weeks, after which the CAD Drafter will join a team led by a QC Specialist to perform drafting work using AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-the-job training for CAD drafting.
• Perform drafting work using AutoCAD or MicroStation after training.
• Collaborate with team members under the guidance of a QC Specialist.

Requirements

• High School diploma or completed GED.
• Experience using CAD or a strong interest in learning CAD software.
• Desire to work in a drafting role long-term.
• Open to learning new software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's Degree or certificate in CAD.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS.
