About the position
The Calibration Technician I position at Acuren Inspection, Inc. is an entry-level role focused on utilizing expertise in calibration to enhance client value. The technician will engage with various stakeholders, including management and clients, while performing field-based tasks that involve both hands-on calibration work and computer-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage asset conditions that could adversely affect client business operational reliability
- Perform vibration diagnostics
- Conduct dynamic balancing
- Utilize additional predictive maintenance technologies such as infrared, ultrasonic, and motor health.
Requirements
- Maintenance experience background in industrial, mechanical, or electrical and instrumentation (E&I)
- Mechanical technologist or engineering diploma/degree preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in applying mechanical precision maintenance fundamentals
- Experience in industrial maintenance or facility operations is considered an asset
- Knowledge of predictive technologies
- Additional certificates in CAT, MLA/MLT, and IR are considered assets
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
