About the position

The Change Management Project Manager will oversee medium to large projects within the Compliance & Custody Change Management team at Aleron. This role involves managing the project development life cycle, collaborating with various divisions, and ensuring successful project execution through effective planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will lead a team of experts, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medium to large projects or segments of larger projects through the project development life cycle.
  • Work closely with sponsors and Systems counterparts to define project scope, develop project plans, and manage budgets.
  • Execute project tasks, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage resources to meet project goals.
  • Lead a team of subject matter experts and analysts to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide project updates and communicate effectively with sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Coach and provide performance feedback for project team members.
  • Define scope, plan, budget, and control all project tasks and deliverables.
  • Apply project management standards and best practices for successful project execution.
  • Ensure all project members adhere to strong project execution methodology standards.
  • Review business cases, requirements, specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Track and resolve business issues throughout the project life cycle.
  • Identify and manage resources to execute the project plan successfully.
  • Ensure thorough testing of all system changes, including user acceptance testing and regression testing.
  • Prepare and present Change Oversight materials to management and project teams.
  • Create project dashboards and reports for senior leadership.
  • Manage project scope to minimize scope creep and recommend solutions for changing business needs.
  • Collaborate and negotiate project goals across division leaders and systems.
  • Provide enhanced client experience by anticipating client needs and initiating actions for project completion.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide consistent updates on project progress.
  • Oversee the creation of product announcements and modification of client demonstration materials.
  • Lead business analysis to determine how changing business needs will affect the system or product.
  • Ensure best practices are applied across all project phases and track project costs and benefits for ROI.
  • Assist in resolving critical issues that may derail a project and provide solutions.
  • Participate in post-project reviews and document lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in project management, business case development, ROI analysis, planning, and issues management.

  • Financial Services Industry experience and knowledge of Custody operations.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay at $76.00 per hour.
