About the position

The Entry Level Chemist position at C&G Consulting Service Inc. is designed for recent graduates with a chemistry degree. The role focuses on identifying and resolving critical problems related to raw materials and packaging challenges, ensuring efficient end-to-end business operations across various product formulations, including cosmetics, OTC, and medical devices. The chemist will oversee technical assurance processes, manage product specifications, and support compliance with drug and chemical regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve critical problems by developing and implementing strategic solutions for raw material and packaging challenges.
• Oversee technical assurance processes and manage product specifications.
• Craft detailed technical reports and metrics.
• Lead global change controls to uphold enterprise compliance and streamline change management policies and procedures.
• Support a team as a hands-on project manager in end-to-end qualifications of raw materials and packaging components for new product developments and existing product lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with region-specific drug and chemical regulations to support the overall safety and quality of finished goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and execute complex projects, navigating various risk factors and strategically devising innovative solutions.
• Enhance operational efficiency and outcomes by developing optimized procedures and working closely with procurement/supply chain teams to drive cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a chemistry degree.
• 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred).
• Ability to commute to Summit, NJ 07901 (required).
• Ability to relocate to Summit, NJ 07901 before starting work (required).

Benefits

• Contract position with pay ranging from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
