The Entry Level Child Autism Aide position at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) involves working directly with children with autism to implement evidence-based behavior treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with children with Autism to implement behavior treatment plans.
- Teach social, communication, and life skills to children.
- Collaborate with clinical professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Provide therapy at the center or the patient's home.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds while assisting patients.
- Negative tuberculosis test required.
- English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required.
- US Work Authorization.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a Nanny, Babysitter, Preschool Teacher, or similar roles.
- Working towards or completed a degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related fields.
