We are currently seeking a motivated and driven Entry Level - Civil Design Engineer in Training to join our team in Summerville, SC. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the field of civil engineering. As a Designer I, you will work under the direction of a Project Manager and will be responsible for preparing site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications associated with residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the civil engineering field, utilizing your knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications. You will be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize your workflow efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly client service-oriented, a self-starter, and a team player with excellent problem-solving and time management skills. This position requires a regular work schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Fridays.
