About the position

POWER Engineers is seeking an entry-level Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineer to join the Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves participating in the design of transmission lines, including new constructions, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work on impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design of new overhead transmission lines.
• Assist in the relocation and upgrade of existing transmission lines.
• Contribute to the addition of fiber optic components to transmission lines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.
• Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of a 2.75 GPA.
• Coursework in structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying.
• Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially in civil and/or structural engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) registration.
