As a designer, you will focus on ensuring that the experiences we create meet the needs of our customers and end users, striving for design excellence in every aspect of your work. In this position, you will apply a user-centered perspective to your design work, advocating for the customer and end user in all interactions with your teammates and colleagues. You will engage with customers or other users of the product during the design process, ensuring that their needs and feedback are integrated into the final product. Content designers play a crucial role in creating and communicating meaning throughout product or service experiences. This involves researching subjects, writing, curating, and editing content for accuracy, clarity, and usability, ultimately helping users understand the value of IBM solutions and guiding them to achieve their goals across the product experience. Your responsibilities will include modeling, writing, and formatting content into viable solutions while evaluating the interactions between language and design elements. You will research and study the subject matter to inform your content, define and apply a consistent voice and tone, and participate in concept ideation based on user and customer goals. Additionally, you will attend client sessions, establish relationships, and advocate for user experience and value in product design. This role also emphasizes the importance of learning and mentorship, allowing you to strengthen your craft skills and contribute to the overall mission and strategy of the department.
