About the position

The Entry-Level Copy Editor position at a global leader in AI development involves training generative AI models to enhance their writing capabilities. The role requires individuals to perform copy editing and writing tasks for high-priority customer projects, while also reviewing the work of others. This position is ideal for creative individuals with strong writing skills, particularly those who are recent graduates or looking to re-enter the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Work on various writing/reading projects to train generative AI models.
• Create original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.
• Rank a series of responses that were produced by an AI model.
• Write a short story based on a given topic.
• Assess the factual accuracy of text produced by an AI model.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a bachelor's degree with relevant writing-centric experience.
• Excellent command of the English language and its grammar rules.
• Located in or around Southlake, TX, and open to working in-person 40 hours per week.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of a liberal arts degree program that is heavily writing-focused (e.g., Journalism, Literature, Linguistics, Communication, Philosophy, History, English).
• Professional experience in translation, writing (e.g., copywriter, journalist, technical writer, copy editor, translator, instructional designer), or education.
