About the position

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level customer support to approximately 50-70 automotive dealerships within a defined area. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our customers are utilizing the software they purchased to its fullest potential. This position requires you to function as a consultant, offering excellent support for our products. You will engage with customers both on-site and through video conferencing, with an expected distribution of roughly 80% on-site support and 20% via video calls. Working from a home office, you will be equipped with a company car, cell phone, and laptop to facilitate your duties. The role involves a significant amount of travel, as you will be visiting dealerships to provide hands-on assistance and training. To prepare for this position, you will undergo a comprehensive paid training program that includes classroom instruction at our offices in Houston, TX, and Dayton, OH, as well as online courses. This training will cover in-depth product knowledge and insights into the automotive industry. Additionally, you will be paired with mentors across the country to help you apply your classroom learning in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter with good time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Valid driver's license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
  • Ability to travel (overnight) up to 30%.
  • Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
