About the position

Welcome to Zufall Health! Award-winning FQHC, Zufall Health is currently seeking Entry Level Dental Assistants for our Dover, West Orange, Newton, Flemington, Morristown, Hackettstown, Bridgewater and Plainsboro locations. The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist(s) and dental hygienist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services. The Dental Assistant is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies. This role is entry level. No experience or training is required. Experienced Dental Assistants are encouraged to apply. Paid training will provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist(s) and dental hygienist(s) in providing primary care dental services.
• Perform sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to study and test for x-ray/radiology license upon eligibility.
• CPR/BLS required prior to start date.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Dental Assistant.
• X-Ray course and license completed within the first 6 months of employment.
