Entry Level - Dental Lab Technician

About the position

The Dental Lab Technician position at Great Lakes Dental Technologies is an entry-level role focused on the pumicing and polishing of orthodontic appliances. The technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on dental products while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision polishing and pumicing of various orthodontic appliances to achieve a smooth finish.
• Use a variety of abrasive materials, compounds, and polishing agents to remove imperfections, scratches, and irregularities from dental surfaces.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed and materials used.
• Check products due dates and prioritize work by completing tasks in order due.
• Complete assigned processes according to Great Lakes standards and time constraints.
• Perform quality checks on products.
• Regularly clean and maintain the laboratory workspace.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Perform assigned work functions as production requires.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate teambuilding skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Demonstrate understanding of and ability to follow directions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
