About the position

Artform Architecture is seeking an Entry Level Architectural Drafter to join their small team in North Hampton, NH. This full-time on-site role involves drafting and preparing architectural drawings and plans suitable for construction, with potential for remote work after a certain period. The position emphasizes collaboration with project managers and architects to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the drawings, while also providing extensive training in framing concepts and structural design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. using Chief Architect.
• Develop, modify, and/or review drawings with direction from project managers to ensure design intent and code elements are incorporated.
• Generate revisions and corrections from outline mock-ups, redlined drawings, and project document sets.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or Chief Architect.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, construction documents, and familiarity with local codes and review processes.
• Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• High self-motivation for completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with architectural design and structural software.
