Responsibilities

• Conduct condition assessments of existing electrical systems.
• Perform feasibility and master plan studies for power generation facilities.
• Provide detailed design and construction oversight for distribution systems and substations.
• Produce electrical calculations, reports, and construction document packages for bidding and construction.
• Model complex power systems to evaluate load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash hazards.
• Develop relay protection strategies and design lightning protection systems and grounding.
• Create procurement specifications for electrical equipment and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, technical writing, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous relevant intern experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, Revit, and NavisWorks.
• System modeling experience using SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar software.
