About the position

As an Entry Level Electrical Engineer in our Arlington office, you'll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various aspects of electrical engineering, including power system planning, power distribution, lighting design, fire and life safety systems, vertical transportation, and construction coordination. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing load analysis for different stages of design, creating detailed drawings of the systems designed, and preparing and documenting energy compliance calculations and forms. Responsibilities

  • Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
  • Create detailed drawings of the electrical systems designed.
  • Prepare and document energy compliance calculations and forms.
  • Collaborate with team members on various engineering projects.
  • Assist in the planning and design of power distribution and lighting systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • United States Citizenship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
  • Some experience working in a corporate engineering environment, Internship or CO-OP.
