About the position

We are seeking a motivated newly graduated Electrical Engineer to assist with various technical tasks and projects. This position will provide you with valuable experience in design, documentation, and hands-on engineering work. You will work closely with our engineering team and gain insight into the practical application of your academic knowledge. As an Entry Level Electrical Engineer, you will participate in design reviews, contribute to discussions, and develop and document technical theory of operations for design work. You will also create and manage plans and reports, including charts and graphs, and engage in basic circuit design, analysis, schematic capture, and simple PCB design. Troubleshooting using common lab equipment and performing basic electronics assembly and soldering will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will select parts, develop bills of materials, design and write software code for products or testing purposes, and assemble cables and prototypes. Adhering to Power Device SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) policies and standards, as well as following the Power Device Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, is essential. You will also perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 internship experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Limited use and/or application of basic technical principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Ability to work on problems of limited scope and follow standard practices and procedures.
  • Work is closely supervised with specific, detailed instructions provided.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with basic test equipment (e.g., DMM, Oscilloscope) is desirable.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
