About the position

The Entry Level Project Manager within AEI's Due Diligence division will focus on performing various environmental due diligence projects primarily related to commercial real estate. The role requires a candidate who can manage multiple projects effectively while ensuring superior customer service and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of environmental assessments and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental reviews and state and federal regulatory program file reviews.
• Conduct field investigations related to environmental due diligence projects.
• Assist in the performance of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage multiple projects under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or a related field.
• Previous experience performing environmental due diligence projects preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Active AHERA certification.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification.
