About the position

The Entry Level Project Manager within AEI's Due Diligence division will focus on performing various environmental due diligence projects primarily related to commercial real estate. The role requires a candidate who is resourceful, self-motivated, and possesses strong organizational and writing skills. The ideal candidate will have some experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and will be responsible for conducting environmental reviews, field investigations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental reviews and state and federal regulatory program file reviews.
• Conduct field investigations related to environmental due diligence projects.
• Assist in the performance of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or a related field.
• Previous experience performing environmental due diligence projects preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Active AHERA certification.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification.
