About the position
As an Entry-Level Environmental Remediation Professional at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in transforming innovative ideas into practical solutions for environmental challenges. This position involves supporting project teams in delivering environmental services, conducting fieldwork, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget.
- Plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance.
- Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts.
- Conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets.
- Create technical reports documenting completed activities and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Willingness to perform field work.
- United States Citizenship.
- Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship.

- A previous internship related to your field of study.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs.
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain 40-hour Hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role.
