About the position
As an Entry-Level Environmental Remediation Professional at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in addressing real-life environmental challenges. This position involves supporting project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services efficiently and effectively. You will engage in field activities, data analysis, and technical reporting, contributing to innovative solutions that shape the future.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services.
- Plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance.
- Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts.
- Conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets.
- Create technical reports documenting completed activities and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Willingness to perform field work.
- United States Citizenship.
- Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship.

- A previous internship related to your field of study.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs.
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain 40-hour Hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role.
