About the position
Maverick Trading, a leader in proprietary trading for over 26 years, is seeking passionate and aspiring equity traders to join our team as Entry Level Equity Traders. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and excel in the trading world. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to trade the firm's capital while retaining a significant portion of your profits, up to 80%. In this role, you will execute trades in a sub-account within the Maverick Trading firm, developing and implementing effective trading strategies. Staying updated on market trends, news, and technological advancements is crucial, as is the ability to proactively manage risk and uphold trading discipline. Responsibilities
- Execute trades in a sub-account within the Maverick Trading firm.
- Develop and implement effective trading strategies.

- Proactively manage risk and uphold trading discipline.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trading or managing investments.
- Basic understanding of financial markets.
- Exceptional decision-making abilities.
- Passionate about trading, with a strong desire to learn and excel.

- Experience with Java is advantageous but not mandatory.
