The Entry-Level Civil Litigation Attorney position offers a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to join a dynamic general civil practice in Bloomington, Illinois. This role is designed for those who are passionate about civil and business litigation, with a focus on agriculture and farming legal issues. The firm is committed to training new attorneys, making it an ideal starting point for recent law graduates or those with limited experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex general and civil and business litigation cases.
- Support more senior attorneys and partners in all aspects of civil litigation.
- Manage cases involving real estate, wills and probate, family law, criminal law, and business law.
- Focus on agriculture and farming legal issues.
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in Illinois.
- 0-3 years of experience in general civil and business litigation.
- Strong analytical and legal research skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Any type of background in agriculture is a plus.
