About the position
Inspectify is currently seeking Insurance Surveyors to join our growing platform. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in helping inspectors, homebuyers, and real estate professionals obtain accurate inspection reports in a timely manner. Our mission is to streamline the home inspection experience through the use of cutting-edge technology, making inspections more efficient and engaging. While we welcome seasoned insurance and home inspectors, prior experience is not necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the field. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting on-site insurance inspections, where you will identify any hazards or concerns that may exist at the properties you visit. Using our user-friendly Inspectify app, you will follow a simple checklist, upload photos, and take notes on the condition of each property. The inspection process is designed to be quick and efficient, with each task estimated to take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You will have the flexibility to accept or decline inspections based on your availability, and each property inspection pays up to $30, with no limit on the number of properties you can accept. Inspectify is a venture-backed, vertically-integrated technology platform in the property inspection space, boasting a network of over 2,000 inspectors and proprietary inspection software. We cater to a broad range of partners in real estate, including agents, buyers, investors, lenders, and property managers, providing them with comprehensive data in a standardized format. Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site insurance inspections to identify hazards or concerns.
- Use the Inspectify app to follow a checklist, upload photos, and take notes on property conditions.
- Complete each property inspection in approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
- Accept or decline inspections based on personal availability.
- Document findings in a standardized format for partners in real estate.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Possess a car, truck, or van.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Have a newer model smartphone.
- Be authorized to work in the US.
- Industry-adjacent experience (e.g., construction, real estate agent) preferred.
- Consent to a background check prior to onboarding.
