As an Entry Level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Indianapolis, you will have the chance to work on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business, including state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities. You will be part of a team that is accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your role may also involve providing on-site assistance during startup and coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications, designs for control systems for a variety of processes, and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation. You will also have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise while relying on other professionals for mentoring. Responsibilities

  • Work on projects that enable the heart of clients' business, including state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
  • Gain familiarity with client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications.
  • Design control systems for a variety of processes.
  • Develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of Control Applications including PLC and DCS systems.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
