The Entry Level Insurance Admin/Data Entry position at TEKsystems involves supporting a high-volume healthcare clinic in Frederick, MD. Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume administrative and data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Obtain authorization from payer's case manager for services ordered/requested for prospects/referrals.
  • Document specific details related to authorizations using the appropriate legacy system and software applications.
  • Obtain additional pre-certification and eligibility verification as needed.
  • Consult with the agency for all private insurance referrals and document communications in a timely manner.
  • Access authorizations via email, telephone, fax, and/or online applications efficiently.
  • Resolve customer requests, inquiries, and concerns in a respectful and expedient manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous administrative experience is required
  • Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
