About the position

This position offers motivated individuals the chance to gain industry experience in a sales and customer support role while training to become a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent. The role includes paid training to assist in obtaining necessary licenses and involves marketing and servicing various insurance products to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and complete marketing activities under the guidance of an Agent or Lead Sales Agent.
  • Help with all office functions and support office operations.
  • Market Direct Auto products to new and existing customers through calls and visits.
  • Monitor key competitors in the local market and suggest initiatives to improve market position.
  • Handle sales administration and reporting activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
  • Experience or willingness to develop relationships and market products within the community.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Motivated to market and sell in a multi-product environment with a focus on cross-selling and customer retention.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Property/Casualty license preferred but not required; ability to acquire it within 90 days of hire.
