About the position

Dealership Technology Solutions is seeking an Entry Level IT Help Desk Technician in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to work at our office in Burleson, Texas. This is an entry-level position where the IT Help Desk Technician will primarily provide remote end-user support. The role involves documenting procedures and managing incidents to resolution or escalation to a more senior team member. The technician will also be responsible for keeping current on technologies to provide effective support for the desktop environment. In this position, the technician will provide remote support for end users' workstations and related office equipment. This includes configuring and deploying workstations and peripherals, as well as installing, configuring, and troubleshooting work-related software. The technician will document, track, and monitor support requests, ensuring timely feedback to end users during and upon resolution. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the team and the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with a working knowledge of Windows operating systems and internal PC components. The ability to work independently and in small teams, as well as the capacity to learn and retain information, are also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • 1 year of troubleshooting experience (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience with Windows operating systems (Preferred)
  • Organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of internal PC components
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams
  • Ability to learn and retain information
