About the position

Overview: We are seeking driven, professional entry level candidates to join our team. Legal and customer service experience is a huge plus! As a Service Specialist, you will work with your team to execute all site operations pertaining to office and facilities services. This includes mail room services, copy services, light facilities maintenance, conference room set up including basic audio visual equipment, corporate hospitality and event planning, and general office services. As a Service Specialist, your role will involve receiving and processing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining copier equipment, and fulfilling copy, print, and scan requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining common areas and managing vendors for larger repairs, as well as assisting with catering and events to ensure a welcoming environment. Effective communication with clients and employees is essential, and adherence to safety procedures is a must. This position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no nights or weekends required. Compensation for this role is set at $17.00 per hour, and you will be part of a company that has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. and has received multiple awards for excellence in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all site operations pertaining to office and facilities services.
  • Receive and process incoming/outgoing mail in the mail room.
  • Maintain copier equipment and fulfill copy/print/scan requests.
  • Maintain common areas and manage vendor relationships for larger repairs.
  • Assist with corporate hospitality, including environment presentation and catering for events.
  • Maintain effective written and oral communications with clients and employees.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer service skills with a consistent high level of service.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on occasion.
  • Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
