As an entry-level lube technician at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our guests on the road by delivering exceptional customer service while performing essential preventative maintenance services for their vehicles. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry, regardless of prior experience. Through our award-winning training program, you will gain hands-on experience in various tasks including changing oil, checking and refilling fluids, rotating tires, testing and replacing batteries, inspecting and replacing lights and wipers, and conducting an 18-point safety check. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance services for vehicles including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Conduct an 18-point safety check on vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy.
• Test and replace batteries, inspect and replace lights and wipers as needed.
• Provide top-tier customer service to guests, ensuring a positive experience during their visit.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver fast and efficient service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Eagerness to learn and a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above head.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
