The Material Handler position is an entry-level role focused on supporting the movement, storage, and packaging of inventory within a distribution center. The role involves various tasks such as pulling orders, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy using RF scanners. Responsibilities

• Pull orders and prepare them for shipment
• Use an RF scanner to pick orders
• Pack orders into boxes for shipping
• Load and unload different transport items
• Record inventory statuses
• Ensure deliveries properly match purchase orders
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
• Record location of inventory
• Report shortages
• Pull orders from inventory
• Deliver production materials and supplies where needed
• Stage finished product for final distribution
• Handle and move merchandise around the premises
• Manage shipping and receiving of materials within the facility
• Use hand trucks, electric fork jacks, and forklifts to move materials

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs+
• Flexibility during the company's start-up phase
• Comfortable standing in one spot for entire shift
• Willingness to work in various locations throughout the distribution center

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with shipping and receiving
• Experience with order pulling and packing
• Accountability in warehouse inventory management
• Cycle counting experience
