Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems for new multi-building facilities and retrofit projects.
  • Conduct energy conservation studies and facility condition assessments.
  • Prepare due diligence reports addressing operating conditions and construction costs.
  • Coordinate the work of multiple disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines effectively.
  • Proficiency in preparing mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Revit preferred; good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with energy conservation studies and facility assessments.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
