Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems for new multi-building facilities and retrofit projects.
- Conduct energy conservation studies and facility condition assessments.
- Prepare due diligence reports addressing operating conditions and construction costs.
- Coordinate the work of multiple disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Previous internship experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines effectively.
- Proficiency in preparing mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates.
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit preferred; good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with energy conservation studies and facility assessments.
- Familiarity with project management software.
