About The Position

The Entry-Level Production Associate role at Whirlpool Corporation involves working on a production line to assemble and package kitchen and laundry appliances. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 18 years old
• 3 months of manufacturing experience
• Ability to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instruction

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of manufacturing work
• 2 years of consistent work experience

Responsibilities

• Work on a moving/conveyor style production line or stabilized workstation
• Assemble and install parts by hand or using air tools
• Crate and package materials, parts, products, etc.
• Participate in training to learn how to follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Ensure the product is handled in a safe and quality-focused manner
• Safely use precision hand and portable power tools and machine shop equipment
• Work as part of an assembly line team or on individual production jobs from start to finish
• Continuously stand or walk (up to 10 hours per day)
• Bend, squat, and lift up to 40lbs frequently
