About the position
Year Up United is an intensive job training program designed for young adults, providing them with essential skills through in-classroom training, internships, and personalized coaching. The program aims to equip participants with both technical and professional skills, facilitating their entry into the workforce or further education.
Responsibilities
- Participate in in-classroom skill development sessions.
- Engage in internships with leading organizations such as Salesforce, Workday, or PayPal.
- Receive personalized coaching and mentorship throughout the program.
- Build professional business and communication skills.
- Develop interviewing and networking skills.
- Create and refine resumes with ongoing support.
- Complete coursework that may be eligible for college credit.
Requirements
- Must be between 18-29 years old.
- Must be a high school graduate or GED recipient.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration.
- Must be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
- Must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree.
