About the position

The Project Coordinator at DH Pace Company, Inc. will play a crucial role in the National Accounts Construction department, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within budget. This position involves effective planning, directing, and coordinating activities in collaboration with the Project Management team to facilitate successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, ordering materials, installer requirements, and working with outside vendors to coordinate schedules and installs.
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within the budgeted scope.
  • Provide assistance and back up to Project Managers for delivery of information, as directed, to customers, material suppliers, and installers.
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers, effectively communicating technical findings.
  • Master project coordinating and problem solving by using good judgment and forecasting.
  • Follow administrative procedures and processes for the management of projects on time and under budget.
  • Monitor submittals, track job materials, and coordinate install timing.
  • Determine innovative solutions to any/all problems concerning execution of jobs.
  • Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately.
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances.

Requirements

  • High attention to detail and a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team player.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills.
