About the position

DH Pace Company is seeking to hire an entry-level Project Coordinator for our Entry Door Systems division located in Tempe, AZ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that project objectives are met within specified deadlines and budget constraints. This position involves effective planning, directing, and coordinating activities to achieve project goals. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications to determine the necessary materials, scheduling, budget parameters, staffing requirements, and the allocation of available resources for various phases of the project. You will discuss and establish a work plan outline with staff, assign duties, define the scope of authority, and provide technical advice and troubleshooting as needed. Additionally, you will direct and coordinate activities to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within the budgeted scope. Regular review of status reports prepared by staff will be essential, and you will be expected to make adjustments where necessary to keep the project on track. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall success of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources for various phases of the project.
  • Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting.
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferable.
  • Three (3) years of experience with managing projects in the construction industry, preferable but not required.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office.
