About the position

Actalent is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Recruiter/Sales Trainee to join our team and help advance the careers of STEM professionals engaged in complex and cutting-edge work. This role is pivotal in building trusted relationships with our network of engineering and sciences consultants, which is a key part of our company strategy. As an Entry-Level Recruiter, you will own the full recruiting lifecycle, which includes meeting with hiring managers to understand their needs, sourcing qualified STEM professionals through various recruiting tools, and screening potential consultants through interviews and reference checks. You will learn about their goals, skills, and interests to ensure alignment with available opportunities. In this position, you will also be responsible for communicating work opportunities and preparing consultants for their new roles. This involves performing critical relationship-building activities, such as coaching your consultants for interviews, checking in on their first day of work, and maintaining contact throughout their employment to ensure their satisfaction and engagement. You will be expected to maintain a network of consultants that align with top industry-specific skill sets and build trusted relationships with your network of STEM professionals, ultimately being seen as a partner in helping them advance their careers. Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle, including meeting with hiring managers to understand their needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, leadership, or sales is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a performance-based environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or recruitment is a plus.
